How do you usually price a service?

At RDC Engineering, we typically price our services based on an hourly rate of $175 per hour. As a small, agile team, we strive to keep our rates competitive while delivering high-quality engineering consultancy tailored to your project needs.

When you engage us, we will provide an initial fee proposal that includes a detailed scope of work. This proposal will clearly outline all anticipated tasks and deliverables. We also include potential optional items that may or may not be required during the project—these will only be charged if they become necessary, ensuring transparency and flexibility for your budget.

Our goal is to offer straightforward, fair pricing with no hidden costs, so you can confidently plan your project with RDC Engineering.

Do you provide due diligence assessments?

Yes, RDC Engineering offers complimentary due diligence assessments for proposed building uses or subdivisions. We provide high-level, expert feedback to help you understand any engineering considerations early in your planning process, ensuring informed decision-making before you proceed.

Are you accredited with Unitywater or Urban Utilities?

While RDC Engineering is not currently accredited with Unitywater or Urban Utilities, we have extensive experience undertaking designs and liaising directly with nominated certifiers to ensure smooth approval processes. We are actively pursuing accreditation and expect to complete the certification process in the next round of submissions scheduled for 2026.
